We had wild nothings
Sometime in the past,
With those memories
That linger and that last.
Those empty moments
That we somehow had filled,
With some wild animal
We both caught and killed.
There is something
But maybe nothing still,
Within a glance of wonder
That’s tainted with goodwill.
There’s something wrong
That should be right.
Remember we’re not the darkness
Please, we’re the light.
